As you may know, Buffer is one of the most used social media apps. Over million people use Buffer to schedule Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Google Plus and Pinterest posts. From now on, you can also use Buffer to schedule Instagram posts too. This is great news for brands that use this social media on a daily basis.

Once a post is scheduled, a device connected to Buffer (Web, iOS or Android) will see a notification that informs them a post is ready to be manually set. The notification then shows a preview of the post and redirects to Instagram for sending.
Instagram scheduling on Buffer is available for all its users. Free Buffer plan offer the ability to link one account, while those with a paid Buffer plan can link several accounts.

This news is quite a breakthrough, as the Instagram API doesn’t allow third-party scheduling. If you schedule your Instagram posts with Buffer, any hashtags or mentions are carried directly to Instagram, along with your image of course. Your favourite filters are still available with Buffer.

Instagram/Buffer cooperation is good because it allows many brands to organise their presence on Instagram better. Also, this may encourage other businesses to open an Instagram account as well.
