We are proud to have Barnardo’s as the charity partner for our Awards so that we can support them in their work to transform the lives of vulnerable children and young people.
Thank you to those of you who came and supported our Awards events during 2015. As a result of your generous donations, we are proud to announce that so far this year we have raised £8827.00. But we’re not going to stop there….By the end of 2015 we pledge to push the total raised to at least £10,000 and we need your help!
The money raised will go directly to Barnardo’s Seraf Service – a pan-wales service working with children and young people who have experienced, or are at risk of sexual exploitation. Dedicated and accomplished project workers at Seraf provide one to one counselling, group work, organise safe accommodation to help settle children into a safe and stable environment, working with foster carers. They also run outreach work visiting schools and other community groups to help raise awareness with children and young people and prevent the chances of the abuse happening.
£25 could buy 3 food parcels for young people who have not eaten for several days after being kept by their abusers
£50 pays for a prevention education work session in a school or residential unit for up to 30 young people offering them the skills and knowledge they need to prevent sexual exploitation.
£100 pays for 3 group therapy sessions for 1 young person
If we reach our target of £10,000 we will have played a part in healing the lives of over 100 vulnerable children and young people, or have helped educate over 6000 at risk children or have fed over 400 children starving after their horrendous ordeal.

Barnardo’s will be out in force at our next event – the UK Digital Experience Awards, on Friday 27th November, where you will be able to purchase Raffle tickets and make donations.
